Louis Vuitton’s show on Wednesday in Paris, really was a show in itself. Its design imitated a hotel lobby and models came in through four old-fashioned elevators. Women dressed as maids and elevator men were also part of the scenery. Kate Moss took up smoking on the runway!
* The idea came from a conversation between Marc Jacobs, the designer brand, and Bernard Arnault, the big boss, about the unspeakable passion that women have for purses. "So we started thinking about passions and everything that requires effort, work and commitment." The result could not have been better. The retro atmosphere gave life to the main theme: Fetish.
* On the runway, the models came with mops, masks and even hats. The clothes were, for once, amazing: just as in Miu Miu, especially the shoulders and also marked the waist – a lot of pencil skirts were paraded.
* The chosen fabric was leather and the colors were more serious, like black, red and blue. The large buttons gave an extra charm to some pieces, mostly with straight cut. A dream fashion show for both men and women.
