With winter getting closer in the U.S. art lovers take the south route . Type an artsy kind of swallow. The reason for the migration? From day 2 to 5 of Dec. will happen in Miami, the American edition of Art Basel, one of the coolest art fairs in the world.
* Brazil, of course, will not be left out. In addition to nearly a dozen national galleries appearing on the official schedule – Fortes Vilaça, Vermelho, Leme and A Gentil Carioca, just to name a few – a parallel exhibition, called "Arroz e Feijão," will take place in Miami.
* Curated by Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, the "Rice and Beans," which is the name of the exhibition in english, will have the participation of great names of contemporary Brazilian art, as Albano Afonso, Brigida Baltar, Cao Guimaraes, Cinthia Marcelle, Eder Santos , Lenora de Barros, L. Marcellvs, Rivane Neuenschwander, Silvia Mecozzi, Thiago Rocha Pitta, among many others.
