It’s a fact! The french cosmetic chain Sephora is going to arrive in Brazil sooner than we thought. LVMH group, owner of the chain, announced this friday the purchase of 70% of Sacks.com, from Rio de Janeiro, the biggest cosmetic virtual store in Brazil. The buzz indicates that the business deal could reach R$ 300 million, around US$170 million, but nothing official has been confirmed.

* It seems like Sephora is going to sell only online for the first 18 months, just like Sacks currently does. But LVMH has already affirmed the intention of opening their first flagship store most probably in São Paulo. Good news to start off the week, right?
