There’s news in the art world, specifically in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. They’re saying that a picture that we thought was a self-portrait of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the greatest painters of all time, is actually a portrait of his brother Theo, made in 1887, the year when the pair lived together in Paris.

* Experts say the painting is of Theo due to the more rounded ears and blond beard – not red, one of the artist’s trademarks. The painting will be exhibited from June as part of an exhibition about the time that Vincent spent in Paris and Antwerp, between 1885 and 1888.
