Three Brazilian natives were selected for the Sónar electronic music festival, in Barcelona. They are Psilosamples, from Minas Gerais, who blends Brazilian folk tradition with electronic music, Dago, from Sao Paulo, founder the collective Avalanche Tropical and supporter of global electronics, and Ricardo Donoso, Rio native living in Boston, USA, who promotes an “anti-techno" based only on synthesizers.
* Also taking part in the event are New Order, Fatboy Slim, Lana Del Rey, Metronomy, The Roots, Nicolas Jaar, James Murphy e Hot Chip. Everything happens on June 14, 15 and 16. The Sao Paulo edition takes place in in May.
