Memorable, was the party Steven Klein threw at his farm house in the Hamptons this Saturday. There was golf carts traffic just to bring guests to the photographer’s tent. Right beside him, welcoming the guests, was Francisco Costa, from Calvin Klein, who sponsored the event, and his best friend, Daphne Guinness, in an outfit that included a scandalous hat.
* This is the 17th year the party happens and as always several important artists like Julian Schnabel and Terence Koh, donated some of their work to the auction sponsored by Klein with the intention to raise funds for ACRIA, an institution that promotes researches to cure AIDS.
* Among the guests were, Calvin Klein, next to Nicolas Gruber, Rachel Zoe, Meredith Melling Burke and Filipa Fino from "Vogue", who wore Calvin Klein, with Brazilian Daniel Urzedo. The Brazilian, Marina Morena, who wore Marc Jacobs, polo player Nacho Figueras and his wife, Delfina Blaquier, were also among the guests. The night’s specialty drink was a mojito with fresh mint that came from Morocco.
* Even thought the party was a blast, it had to end around midnight, because of the silence law in the Hamptons. The ones closer to Steven, like Stefano Tonchi, editor in chief of "W", and socialites Fabiola Beracasa, Leigh Lezark and Kari Talley, stayed for an after party that happened on the other side of the tent. A non-stop party!
