Sony studios have saved a few millions of dollars in the production of the fourth “Spider-man” movie. Okay, the thing is: before closing the deal with young Andrew Garfield, the studios had offered Tobey Maguire US$20 million to star the sequel, which he refused. Andrew, as the new Peter Parker will only get US$500 thousand.
* For a box office success that really is a low amount; even because Maguire got, for the first movie, US$4 million and, in each of the other ones, US$15 million. Since no one else wanted the part, did the directors choose based on the less expensive one?
