Imagine a three-day festival with the best of indie rock and electronic music in the Californian desert. This is the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival or simply Coachella, that’s going on this weekend. With all the cool appeal, it’s only natural that the festival attracts many music and fashion stars and ends up becoming “trends-meter”.
* Perhaps it’s the weather – the heat coming up in the 40 º C – perhaps it’s the proximity to nature, but earth tones have been a popular choice this year, with colors such as brown, ocher, red and burnt orange, sand and green moss. Alessandra Ambrosio went with this trend, spicing her nude dress with a colorful shawl. Diane Kruger bet on the long skirt combo + sleeveless + panama hat, and Katy Perry looked very in a lace dress and a huge bow on her head. Kate Bosworth also chose an earth look.
* Another way is to enjoy the sunshine is to invest heavily in colors, as did Dita Von Teese and Vanessa Hudgens, for example.
