Paris Fashion Week is still the center of the fashion world and what was seen last weekend was a chic minimalism, also present on the last season and very strong also on the backstage. An example is Stella McCartney who gave life to the jeans-with-jeans trend mixing shirts, skirts and pants from the same fabric. Céline elongated silhouette, did silk shirts with extra large modeling and used leather to break the seriousness of some looks.

* For the Maison Martin Margiela’s summer, women invaded the men’s wardrobe and brought coats, blazers and structured shirts. The high point was the straight acrylic boards coated with fabrics, that seemed to incorporate the look and created a futuristic feel. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen presented for The Row’s summer with layering, volume and fluidity.

* Riccardo Tisci took the punk-gothic atmosphere and showed on Givenchy’s runway old-school glamour, with leopard prints, a lot of black, deconstruction and a fit suggesting "the decadence of the 21st century." Finally, the designer Isabel Marant did a presentation with a sportswear feel: inflated shoulders, playful prints, jackets, baggy pants and knit, making sure that summer has almost arrived!
