Sir Richard Branson, owner of the Virgin Group and one of the most fun and eccentric millionaires in the world, has just announced that he plans to invest more than US$ 450 million on a series of brand new luxury hotels. New businesses are Richard’s expertises – he made a lot of money in the music industry. Today he owns an island and invests in plenty different things, from aviation to bio-fuels and fashion.
* The first hotels will be opened on the United States but the plans are for it to become a global chain. Branson promises to "redefine the client’s routine from the check-in till the check-out". Initially, there are plans for operations in cities like New York, San Francisco, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston and Washington.
