Nothing better than a fashionista love story. Fashion designer Lauren Bush, niece of former President George Bush, announced her engagement to David Lauren, son of Ralph Lauren. But the best part of the story is where the two met for the first time six years ago: The annual ball of the Met’s Costume Institute, hosted by Anna Wintour.
* The bride, designer for Lauren Pierce, and groom, vice president of Polo Ralph Lauren, are darlings of the fashion world and their wedding promises to have an all-star guest list. According to The New York Post, the proposal was very old school, like in a classic movie: the groom knelt and surprised the bride with a diamond ring. They’re adorable!
