Almost more fun than Christmas shopping is admiring the store windows this time of year. Department stores always take pride in their decorations. Both Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys look amazing this year. Bergdorf’s theme is "Wish You Were Here", inspired by travel, with balloons, antique cars, bicycle parts and maps on display. Barneys, on the other hand, decided to honor the gourmet world. Chefs and snacks populate its windows, which wish pedestrians to "Have a Foodie Holiday." The restaurateurs Mario Batali and Daniel Boulud are some of the people turned into dolls to decorate the store. Quite original.
