No one less than Paul McCartney will lend his beautiful voice and participate in Steve Martin’s second album – yes, Steve Martin, the actor. Scheduled to be launched in mid March, “Rare Bird Alert” has 13 tracks written by the comedian himself. Very romantic, Paul sings a song called “Best Love.”
* Oh, and for those of you who don’t take Steve Martin’s musical career seriously, his first album, “The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo,” won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2009.
