And the most influential celebrity in the United States is … Steven Spielberg! That’s right, the director of "Schindler’s List" and "Saving Private Ryan" has managed to beat even Oprah Winfrey in a new ranking compiled by Forbes magazine. The hostess, FYI, was placed second.
* On the choice of Spielberg, the editors of Forbes argue that he is a famous case of someone who is "respected by all." The list also includes names such as Rush Limbaugh, the ultraconservative radio host who loves to pick on Barack Obama, Bono, Barbara Walters and Glenn Beck, Fox News’ controversial commentator.
