Apparently, the Sundance film festival this year will have rap-hip-hop vibe. Besides the long-awaited release of "Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest," from director Michael Rapaport on the 90s rap group, Sundance will also feature the musical talents of 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill and Roots.
* Rapper 50 Cent, moreover, will not be in town just to sing and check out the festival. He will announce new partnerships for his producer, Cheetah Vision Films, at a dinner in Riverhorse. It seems he is planning a film with boxer Floyd Mayweather.
