Isabeli Fontana’s first cover for Vogue France was published in March 2002. "I was only 17 and was photographed by David Sims. I was wearing Balenciaga and had this huge hair. The photos were beautiful," recalls the top, in a conversation with Glamurama. The trip down memory lane came after questions about the editorial shot by Sims for the April 2011 edition of the magazine, the first led by Emmanuelle Alt. "I loved doing the photos, I identify with Emmanuelle and I think she will do a wonderful job with magazine," she said.
* The reason Isabeli’s so fond of the publisher? "She’s super into family and she also has a rocker style that I relate to. I thought Gisele’s April cover was beautiful. Commercial and fashion at the same time," she said. At the end of the conversation, Isabeli said, "Oh, and wait for a surprise in June." Will she be in the cover of the publication? Her big smile was a dead giveaway…
