James Cameron’s visit to Brazil has yielded many good ideas. As we already reported, the director came to the country to attend the World Forum for Sustainability, in Manaus, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bill Clinton. And since we can’t talk about James without mentioning "Avatar,” the director himself said that the Amazon rainforest is the closest thing there is to Pandora, the paradise of the movie.
* And there’s more … He believes in bringing the cast of the sequel to Amazonia, so they can get to know the life of the natives of the Kayapo tribe. "If I had been here before filming the first ‘Avatar’, I would’ve certainly done a better job," said the director. And it doesn’t end here. Cameron plans to produce an experimental documentary in 3D on the situation of people of the region and the battle against the Belo Monte hydroelectric plant, designed to be built in the Xingu River. Apparently we’ll see a lot of the director around here.
