The countdown to the concerts in Brazil already reached the home stretch, and this weekend, U2 started their South American tour in Santiago, Chile. They played for 80 thousand people and, in the beginning, even surprised with a cover of The Beatles’ "Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band." Then they went on to play 25 hits that led the crowd into a frenzy.
* The opening act, the band Muse, played just eight songs and didn’t excite the crowd. They will also perform here on April 9, 10 and 13. Glamurama, of course, will be there! While the Morumbi dates haven’t been set yet, check out a little bit of the mega show in Chile:
