What would be the future of three brothers, sons of an American pastor who took the boys with him as he preached through the southern United States, were home schooled and couldn’t watch TV or listen to music? They certainly wouldn’t become rock stars, right? Wrong, this is the story of Caleb, Jared and Nathan Followill who, with cousin Matthew Followill, form the band "Kings of Leon."
* It is focusing on this lesser-known side of the 2010 Grammy winners that director Stephen C. Mitchell based the documentary "Talihina Sky." In it, images of the brothers Followill drinking and smoking are mixed with snippets of the sermons of the boys’ father, who even says: "I’m not saying that my children are going to hell, but this was not the future I imagined for them."
