Before performing here in Sao Paulo with their 360° tour, U2 made a pit stop in Brasilia to meet with President Dilma Rousseff. Right now, they are at Palácio da Alvorada and their arrival was accompanied by lots of screaming fans who camped there.
* Bono spoke with Dilma and said he wants to get to know the Brazilian programs against poverty and AIDS. He also said he was sorry for the tragedy in Rio and that it’s very sad day for Brazilians. After the conversation they had lunch around there.
