On Thursday evening, a cool group showed up to congratulate cartoonist Angeli, who launched a retrospective at Itaú Cultural, in São Paulo, within the project "Ocupação." For the exhibition, curator Carolina Guaycuru selected 880 works signed by the artist and 20 photos of his personal archives. Another highlight is the display of two sets of restored footage of "Dossiê Rê Bordosa," a short film directed by Cesar Cabral on the fun character who was always with a hangover – and who was so famous she ended up being "murdered" by her creator.

* Laerte, Paulo Caruso, Lobao, writer Marcelino Freire, president of Itaú Cultural, Milú Villela, among others stopped by. Oh, and there’s more: the exhibition also features a video interview with Angeli, signed by his son, Pedro, in which illustrator talks about milestones of his career. Cool!
