Since September 2010, designer Nicholas Kirkwood has been saying that he would create a shoe collection inspired by the works of Keith Haring. The German shoemaker launched his long awaited collection together with the opening of his boutique in London – which received the pairs, but for now, just for an exhibition. ? ?
* If you think that Nicholas just printed Keith’s prints onto the shoes, you are mistaken. He completely reinterpreted the work of the American artist in the form of clippings, motifs and bold colors, and, to the delight of Nicholas’ customers, the pieces will be sold as soon as the exhibit is over on July 1. You better hurry if you want one, since the products are unique, and prices are already through the roof…
