Paulo Coelho has got plenty of reasons to celebrate! Besides the launch of his new pen, called "The Alchemist", by Montegrappa, the writer is also also celebrating the 25 anniversary of the first edition of the book that gave its name to the piece. Glamurama has actually found out how he’s going to mark the quarter century of publishing the story that changed the author’s life: Paulo is preparing a special edition that will cost between 7 and – gasp! – $ 100,000 dollars. FYI: More than half the copies have already been sold to collectors!
* For all of this, Paulo threw the coolest party on Monday, at the Castle of Marostica, Bassano del Grappa, in Italy, with very special guests and even a performance by Scorpions’ Rudolf Schenker – who won a guitar painted on the spot by Romero Britto and Christina Oiticica, wife of the writer. Paulo got really into it and went on stage to sing together with the guitarist. Glamurama recorded everything. Just press play!
