Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Henry VIII of the series The Tudors, was hospitalized on Wednesday after he refused to accept the care of paramedics who found him passed out in his home in Maida Vale, Central London. The British newspaper "The Sun" says Meyers tried to commit suicide by drinking a cocktail of pills and alcohol. The actor, who has been in rehab five times for his alcoholism, was released hours later and declined comment.
