Now it’s official. It’s time to say goodbye to Teri Hatcher and the other actresses of "Desperate Housewives." Leen Paul, president of ABC, has just confirmed that the series’ eighth season will be its last. Paul also said that the program is an "icon that put ABC on the map" and said they chose to disclose the news before the start of the season just to ensure a successful end.
