The BrazilFoundation gala dinner began at the New York Public Library. And the Brazilian team of celebrities showed up in force. Ronaldo, Marcus Buaiz, Luciano Huck and Angelica, Georgina Brandolini, José Auriemo Neto, Ana and Rogerio Fasano, Bernardo Paz, Carlos Saldanha, Andrea Dellal, Preta Gil, Luciana Gimenez, Lenny Niemeyer and a team of models, including Isabeli Fontana with her boyfriend Rohan Marley, Marcelle Bittar, Izabel Goulart and Alessandra Ambrosio, packed the halls of the beautiful New York library.
* At the cocktail, there were rumors that president Dilma Rousseff, who is in town for the UN Assembly, would attend the event. But it didn’t happen. Ronaldo arrived for dinner, surrounded by fans who kept trying to take pictures or just say a word. "I’ll talk later," he said, trying in vain to escape.
* In the outfits, between models and former models, such as Andrea Dellal, the predominant choice was Valentino, and, guess what, the designer was at the event. Could that be the reason? "Nooo, I’ve always loved Valentino," said Isabeli, accompanied by her friendly boyfriend, son of Bob Marley, who finds the photo frenzy "so crazy".
* But not everybody wanted to please the Italian designer. Angelica chose a Carlos Miele number, Ana Fasano came in a Reinaldo Lourenço, Georgina Brandolini wore a Giambattista Valli and Alessandra Ambrosio, exception among fellow models, chose a Pucci gown, very femme fatale, with lace and transparency.
* The auction took place after dinner. And then there was a Preta Gil concert and after-hours at the Americano Hotel, in Chelsea, organized by Cidade Jardim shopping mall. Glamurama will tell you all about it.
