Maria Bethania is very focused. The reason? She is in the studio recording a new album, scheduled for release next year. Two songs are ready – awaiting to be mixed, of course – and what we can say is that one of them was written by Djavan. New tour, therefore, only in mid-2012.
* But this weekend, cariocas longing for Bethania’s voice will be able to check out the concert "Bethânia e as Palavras" ("Bethania and the words"), at SESC Ginástico, in downtown Rio. A must-see.
