Marisa Monte’s costume designer, Rita Murtinho, had to bend over backwards this week to find the shoes that the muse of MPB will wear on her tour “Verdade Uma Ilusão.” We’re talking about a Prada model, but from an old collection and thus very rare. Rita went through shops, internet, but found nothing … The solution? A call to the office of the brand in Italy. Whew … The model was found in an Italian shop, which luckily had a pair available in stock. Ah, it’s worth noting that Marisa isn’t one to follow trends, much less worship luxury brands, but Rita made sure to incorporate this fashionista detail into the wardrobe. The result, glamurette, you’ll get to see this Thursday at Marisa’s concert in HSBC Brasil in Sao Paulo.
