After a hiatus of three years without exhibitions, artist Maria Klabin is back to the world of brushes, canvases and openings as she returns to the beach theme, initiated in 2008, but this time with other tones. Maria’s choices range from shades of gray, black and brown in nine oil on woods, each with 2m by 1.60m, which will be on display until December 23 at Gallery Silvia Cintra + Box 4, in Gávea, in Rio

* "In this series, I was interested in creating an emotional narrative, the possibility of a space between body and memory, object and subject. The result is a perceived story either by excessive closeness or distance too long to be noticed," she said. Glamurama, incidentally, got a picture of a painting that will be exhibited. Beautiful, isn’t it?
