On Tuesday, an important name of French art is opening a photo exhibition at Sergio Caribé Gallery in Sao Paulo. Claude Mollard, who participated in the design, construction and opening of the ultra-modern Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris is recognized in France for his defense of culture and for his work as a writer.
* As a photographer, Claude was only revealed later, from the encouragement of friends like Frans Krajcberg, after more than 40 years capturing images at different locations on the planet in search of what he called Orígenes – genes of origin – which he found in visits to places like the Paros islands, in Greece, the ruins of Pompeii, the Stromboli volcano in Italy or New Viçosa, Bahia. Cool!
