Oskar Metsavaht of Osklen made a quick stop in New York on Tuesday. But he’ll hurry back to Brazil on account of the advanced negotiations to sell his brand, which is being sought out by three giants of the fashion business: Louis Vuitton’s LVMH, Gucci’s PPR, and Alpargatas’s Havaianas.
* The latter is very likely to win, by the way … "I’m in a comfortable situation," said the entrepreneur and designer. Metsavaht has already decided when he’s making a decision. "By the end January, the deal will be sealed," he pointed out. Let’s wait and see.
