The photographer Bianca Cutait has the coolest project in the oven. She spent three years photographing the samba school Vai-Vai, and now the result will turn into a commemorative book. "I have new photos, a lot of material. I took pictures of the performances as well as dress rehearsals and backstage. It’s such an incredible thrill! We want to make a book that will live up to Vai-Vai" she said.
* Another cool story is that Bianca met her boyfriend, filmmaker Fernando Capuano, because of Vai-Vai. Glamurama can explain: while Bianca took her pictures, Fernando was shooting the documentary "Vai-Vai: 80 Years," which, incidentally, was the winner of the 35th Sao Paulo International Film Festival. That’s where their romance began – the rest is history.
* Ah, the work will also include texts by Nirlando Beirão, and the launch will be in the second half of 2012. Glamurama has an exclusive photo, take a look:
