Nobody wants to stay out of this big wave of partnerships between designers and fast-fashion chains. Now it’s up to Karl Lagerfeld, who has just signed a contract with Macy’s. The deal is that he will sign a collection that includes everything from party dresses to jeans. Gasped? Yeah, us too.
* The pieces will still take a while to arrive in stores: only in September next year. With that, Karl will be another great designer to create a line for a store, after names like Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson and Aggugini Kinder.
