The premiere of the musical "Tim Maia – Vale Tudo," starring Tiago Abravanel, was a huge success. It took place on Monday at Teatro Procopio Ferreira, in São Paulo. Nelson Motta, author of the text, was visibly moved. "I saw the show several times in Rio and I was moved to tears," he told Glamurama. The hall of the theater was packed with stars and celebrities: Beatriz Segall, Leonardo Miggiorin, Daniel Boaventura, Cosette Alves, Monica Serra, Fafa de Belém, Olivier Anquier and his wife, Adriana Alves, and Oscar Magrini, among others.
* Marisa Orth, accompanied by her boyfriend, the musician Dalua, said she was eager to see “such a successful” musical. "I’m a fan of Tim Maia and I recorded one of his songs, ‘Sofre,’" said the actress, who is currently in theaters with "The Addams Family." Jarbas Homem de Mello, who stars in the musical "Cabaret", appeared without his girlfriend, Claudia Raia, who is in Rio with her children. "Claudia is a wonderful woman and the biggest star in Brazil," he said.
* The actor Leonardo Miggiorin, in theaters with the play "Equus," couldn’t wait to see Tiago Abravanel’s performance. "He’s been highly praised," he said. Mel Lisboa, redhead, was late and rushed into the theater. Even Val Marchiori made an appearance, saying that, as a teenager, she cried when she listened to Tim Maia.
