One of the coolest moments from Camila Pitanga and Edward Norton at the delivery of the Prêmio Equatorial 2012 (Equator Prize 2012), at Vivo Rio, on Wednesday, was when the actress taught the American to say “Veta, Dilma”, in Portuguese, between handing the trophies. The audience, of course, went wild when Edward repeated the sentence. Just to refresh your memory, Camila had already made the request in person to President Dilma during a ceremony in honor of Lula, also in Rio, when she, on stage, broke protocol and shouted out “Veta, Dilma!” referring to the text of the new Forest Code, approved on April 25 by the House of Representatives.
