Every day the top of the Empire State Building changes its color and, almost every time, the colors are specially chosen, for a special reason. On Halloween day, for example, the tones that will decorate the skyscraper will be black, orange, and white. On the day of the governor’s elections, November 2nd, the tribute is to the American flag.
* In the first evening of traditional Christmas Spectacular show at Radio City, the 102-story building will be colored with the Christmas colors: green, red and white. And for those who stay out late, it is worth paying attention to ESB at two o’clock, when all the lights go out.
* Fun fact: after September 11 2001, the Empire State Building again became the tallest skyscraper in Manhattan.
