An artsy croud will fall into samba this weekend in Rio. And it’s all Vik Muniz’s fault. The artist will celebrate his 50th anniversary on Sunday, complete with roda de samba at Villa Phillipe, Santa Teresa, and the party should bring together a great group.
* The catering is up to Zaza Bistro restaurant in Ipanema, and it will have many typically Brazil dishes, such as feijoada loaf with spicy pumpkin cream and dried beef and crunchy kale, organic chicken drumsticks and cassava balls with Sicilian lime zest. Now let’s just hope for the weather in Rio to improve and for the sun to come up in full force!
