The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles took a step forward and organized an exhibition with the 50 top contemporary street artists, including Banksy, Swoon, Space Invader, JR, Margaret Kilgallen, and representing Brazil, Osgemeos.
* "’Art in the Streets’ is the first exhibition to showcase the work of the most influential artists who emerged from street art and were placed in the context of contemporary art," said Jeffrey Deitch, director of the museum.
* In addition, the exhibition – which runs until Aug. 8 – will feature photographs and videos of people close to the graffiti movement, such as Terry Richardson and Spike Jonze, and a room dedicated to the Fun Gallery, which discovered artists like Jean -Michel Basquiat. Glamurama recommends!
