On January 24th Paris will be swept by Couture. From January 24th to 27th, there will take place in the city shows of what many consider the heart of fashion. Christian Dior, Chanel, Giorgio Armani Privé and Valentino, among others will display their most daring designs there.
* Trivia: did you know that “real” Couture only really exists in Paris? During World War II, Hitler tried to turn German into fashion’s epicenter, so the most prominent designers of the time got together and created a kind of syndicate with rules to formalize the production of couture in the world. One of the requirements to fit this category is having a atelier in Paris. How about that?
