Brazil was featured in "The New York Times." The reason? The launch of the book "Brazilian Style", by the French publishing house Assouline. "It’s a personal love for places, people and things in Brazil, which fascinate me," author Armand Limnander told the newspaper. In the pages of the book, you can see the concern to avoid the obvious. The traditional “made in Brazil” icons, such as Pele, Oscar Niemeyer, caipirinhas, Sonia Braga, Vik Muniz, Ivo Pitanguy, Tropicalia and Ipanema come out of their contexts, becoming much more fun and real.

* With the attempt to capture the spirit of a country considered by many the most lively on Earth, the book has just hit international shelves with an illustration of Carmen Miranda on the cover.
