Any work of the Iranian architect Zaha Hadid is reason to celebrate, not once but several times. And that is precisely what the residents of Guangzhou, in China, will do on the opening of the Opera House, which opens its doors on June 25 with a series of events.

* With over 70 thousand square meters, the structure offers 1,800 seats, plus an auxiliary theater, lobby, lounge and other spaces that Zaha called "additional spaces," after all, she followed to the letter the guidance of entrepreneurs and local government, who are trying to establish Guangzhou as a pole of the Arts in Asia.

* On the 25th, guests will get to know the space in a cocktail party hosted by Moet Hennessy and Moet Chandon. After that there will be a special performance by Akram Khan Dance Company, with the show "Vertical Road.” Then half the group is going to a lecture theater, where a dinner in honor of the architect will take place.
