In just seven days, the single "Hold It Against Me", released on iTunes, hit number one on the Billboard chart in the United States and 19 other countries. A new milestone for a female artist, beating the likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga.
* The thing is that Britney achieved such a feat with almost no promotion. She didn’t appear in any big TV show nor released any bombshell videos. After a burst in sales of the Apple store, Britney thanked on Twitter: "Seriously, I have the best fans ever. I love you all so much!! Everything I do is for you!"
