The designer Amir Slama hasn’t quit fashion, quite the contrary. On the few last months he’s been working on partnerships deals and moving ahead with one of his most ambitious projects of his career: opening a store of his own at Oscar Freire Sreet, in Jardins. The date chosen for the opening is October 26th, and the store has its project signed by the architect Candice Fagundes.

* The renovations of the 200 m² space was done in "four hands", as Slama likes to remark, and used four different material: a mix of steel, leather, concrete and wood .The idea was to find new functions for the materials so ward to work with.

* Gloria Coelho, Maxime Perelmuter, John John Denim, Lolitta, Valdemar Iodice and Lilly Sarti were invited to create pieces inspired on the new brand’s lifestyle, properly named Amir, and gave life to clothes with sportive and urban proposals. "I invited these people because I knew they would be able to design according to our new language and the result is innovative" said Amir, who will continue to design beach wear. Even so, he wasn’t afraid of adventuring in a complete collection for the racks of his new store. Below, a few sketches from the new space:
