Kanye West’s interest in the world of fashion is nothing new. The singer, who has even launched a clothing line, now invests in a partnership with the French studio M / M, responsible among other things for collaborations with Inez van Lamsweerde, Vinoodh Matadin, Stella McCartney and Yohji Yamamoto, and a part of Carine Roitfeld’s team when she was head of "Vogue" France.

* It all began when the rapper asked the studio to illustrate the booklet of his new CD, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." They had such great chemistry that the designers invited Kanye to create a line of five silk scarves inspired by the work of the controversial artist George Condo. The scarves, limited edition of 250 copies, will have pictures such as a crowned head on a platter and a naked sphinx hugging a picture of Kanye, and will go on sale soon at Colette and on the studio’s website.
