Grace Coddington has been writing a memoir for a long time. But the project took a more serious turn this week, thanks to a lucrative contract signed by Anna Wintour’s faithful squire with Random House. Rumors are that the creative director of "Vogue" U.S. has already pocketed a check for US$ 1.2 million for the book, although there’s still no publishing date.
* Of course this figure doesn’t include royalties that she will possibly pocket after the publication, which will surely make the rounds.
* In time: Michael Roberts, fashion and style director of "Vanity Fair", is helping Grace in her literary endeavor.
