It’s been a while since menswear collections of Milan Fashion Week, which ended this Tuesday, have created that much buzz. The reason so much hype? The controversial pants made for men’s wardrobe. Gucci, for example, extended the cuffs and made a kind of bell-bottomed suit. Dolce & Gabbana bet on saruel pants and brought pop to its collection by adding prints with the logos of Coca-Cola and Mickey Mouse.
* Giorgio Armani chose wider pants and even risked a metallic parachute thingy. Versace and Alexander McQueen went even further and revived thigh waists for the boys. Their belts over the jackets also attracted a lot of attention, marking the waist. Innovative or eccentric?
