Former creative director of Christian Dior’s menswear, Hedi Slimane, replaced by Kris Van Assche in 2007, will not even entertain the idea of returning to the fashion house in Paris. "I really love to design but when it’s a big luxury house there are so many things around the design. Like the global branding, like the window displays. Oh, it’s so much. You just have to be happy doing it. If you’re not, you’re really miserable. And I have no intention to be miserable," the designer confided in an interview with British newspaper "Guardian."
* He hasn’t been invited to take over from John Galliano and said that even if the pay was excellent, he wouldn’t go back to making clothes in an industrial scale. "Of course I’ll go back to designing again, but when the time is right, with an incredible project that motivates me.
