The changes in Sao Paulo Fashion Week this year have been in full swing: Gisele Bundchen is out, Ashton Kutcher is in. Brands such as Wilson Ranieri and Simone Nunes have been replaced by others, such as Juliana Jabour, which appeared in Fashion Rio until last edition.
* Glamurama spoke with Juliana to learn more about the switch and she explained everything to us. "When Luminosidade took over Fashion Rio, in 2009, we talked to Paulo Borges about our wish to come to Sao Paulo. At the time he asked us to wait a bit, since we were a strong name in Rio. He said there would be some restructuring, so we stayed. Now we sat down and made the decision," she said.
* What is going to change, Juliana? "Actually, this decision was also based on logistics, since our factory is only 20 minutes from São Paulo, but not much will change in the brand’s DNA." For the winter, Juliana told us to expect beautiful knitwear and neutrals with a dash of color. It’s a lot of work, Ju will only go on hiatus on the Tuesday before Christmas, which she will spend in Belo Horizonte. For New Year’s eve, she is going to Pipa’s beach, in Rio Grande do Norte.
