Everybody knows that Carine Roitfeld is has been hired by Barneys. Now what caught everyone by surprise was her participation in the autumn-winter 2011-2012 Chanel campaign, shot this week by Karl Lagerfeld. He made sure to invite his friend to sign the styling of the photos.
* The campaign stars model Freja Beha Erichsen, who is already a darling of Karl, and has shot for Chanel so often she has lost count of how many times. "This mix and working with Freja is something magical," said Lagerfeld in an interview to WWD.
* The first pictures should come out in the coming weeks, as well as those of Fendi, with Anja Rubik, who shot the new campaign this week in Paris. More news? Freja, Lady Amanda Harlech, Anna Mouglalis and Kristen McMenamy were invited by Karl himself to record, on May 9, the video for the Cruise Collection 2011 in Antibes, a small French village. But the best is yet to come, when the troupe hits the road and will shoots the same campaign in Monaco. Is it good or what?
