Glamurette, get ready to eat a lot of sauerkraut, strudel, sausage and pork. On Friday, the world president of the Goethe Institute is in the country to announce the start of preparations to make 2013 the Year of Germany in Brazil.
* The announcement will be made on Friday, here at the Institute’s headquarters in Sao Paulo. The state has about 800 companies of Germanic origin and is the largest German industrial center outside of Germany. It’s easy to think of Allianz Insurance, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Merck, Roland Berger, Siemens, Sixt Rent a Car and ThyssenKrupp Bilstein, and Volkswagen, of course. 2013 will be a busy year…
